We Owe It All to His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid!

Rabat, Morocco, October 28, 2007 –  The great success story of the Hassan II Golf Trophy with phase of outreach efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid is another great triumph for the Moroccan people.

With the acknowledgment of hard work, the tournament reached its goal especially thanks to His Royal Highness' worthwhile initiative in honor of conveying the event on highest international level in the area, and for giving the opportunity to enjoy the challenging golf experiences at one of the most famous golf club.

Worthy of special mention is the fact that when His Royal Highness created the Hassan Golf Trophy Society, its members believed that carry-over the longest running sport event was a very difficult challenge and to continue to organize each year this event in the founder’s honor, HM King Hassan II, was itself a large success.

However, immediately after the creation of the Hassan II Golf Society, His Royal Highness made it clear that his ambitions are grand. The Prince did not want to simply continue to organize an annual trophy, in which he has fancy interest. His aim and purpose was to raise event to the higher standard, and to make a golfing event with the participation of leading international players.

His Royal Highness went on to add the project's true value, many hurdles facing the event has been overcome, ambitions and desires to connect and contribute to the wider world were accomplished.

Thanks to the initiative and perseverance of His Royal Highness, today, Morocco hosts the tournament that showcases the outstanding culture of sport and is grand opportunity to network with international players to create a valuable atmosphere.

The Hassan II Golf Trophy is a perfect time to renew the dedication to honors the founder HM King Hassan II as well as present leader HRH Prince Moulay Rachid that preserve this important legacy and the Moroccan most esteemed sporting and cultural heritage.
