The Hassan 2 Golf Trophy by telegraph.co.uk
Meanwhile an injured Padraig Harrington surprised himself in finishing three shots clear of his rivals on the opening day of the Hassan II Trophy in Rabat, Morocco.
The Open champion, who injured his neck on the eve of the invitational event, hit seven birdies in a six-under 67 on the par-73 Royal Dar Es Salam course. He is clear of David Howell, Simon Dyson and Mark O'Meara, tied in second place on three under.
"Beware the injured golfer," said Harrington as he exited the scorer's hut. "But I'm very happy and surprised."
