Big Ticket Ernie Els brings home the King Hassan II Trophy in Morocco

Greig Hutcheon jt 12th behind winner Els in Morocco

Peterculter tour pro Greig Hutcheon earned $12,750 for a joint 12th place behind winner Ernie Els in the Hassan II Trophy tournament over the Royal Dar Es Salam course at Rabat, Morocco today. Hutcheon (pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency) had rounds of 71, 69, 72 and 74 for a total of six-under-par 286 over the par-73 course. South African Els collected the $150,000 top prize, thanks to a final round of 68 for a total of 275, overtaking overnight leader Simon Dyson who finished with a 74 for joint second place on 277 with... Ernie Els Wins Hassan 11 Golf Trophy in Morocco

Former major winner Ernie Els of South Africa (pictured below) fired a five under par score of 68 for a -17 total of 275 to win the $150,000 1st prize at the 36th Hassan 11 Trophy in Morocco, finishing two strokes ahead of England’s Simon Dyson and Swede Johan Edfors. Ernie Els a confirmé de la plus belle des manières son statut de favori du tournoi en remportant le 36e Trophée Hassan II après un final palpitant. C’est en enquillant un putt de 17 m sur le trou n°17 que le Sud-Africain a fait la différence.
